Princeton-based Stevens & Lee announced recently that Patricia U. Herst, an estates and trusts attorney in the Princeton community, has joined the firm.
“Patty is a highly regarded lawyer and will be a great asset to both our team in Princeton and to the firm,” said Ernie Choquette, CEO and president of Stevens & Lee.
Joining Herst are three estates and trusts paralegals. Herst has more than 30 years of experience in estate and tax planning, estate and trust administration, charitable giving and probate matters.
She has served in leadership roles on a number of nonprofit boards, including the American Red Cross of Central New Jersey and Jewish Family and Children’s Services of Greater Mercer County.
Currently, Herst is secretary of the board of trustees for the Princeton Area Community Foundation and serves on the board of Bucks County Playhouse, Playhouse Artists. She is a member of the Mercer County Estate Planning Council and her local, state and national bar associations. She also worked as an administrator and associate dean of students at several colleges and universities.
