James McGinty has been hired as chief of surgery and surgical services at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.
In July 2017 Bergen County’s Englewood Hospital and Medical Center named Dr. James McGinty chief of surgery and surgical services. In his role McGinty is responsible for providing leadership for inpatient and outpatient operation rooms, surgical staff and programs focusing on patient safety and efficiency.
McGinty is a board-certified general surgeon with expertise in bariatric surgery and performing minimally invasive and robotic weight-loss procedures to help patients lose weight, improve, resolve and prevent conditions associated with obesity. He has a special interest in novel surgical techniques and technology including simulation and robotic surgery.
