Howard Ryan has served as the founder, president and federal certifications manager for Desktop Alert Inc., a mass notification delivery system, since 2005. His vision relies on celebrating the genesis of the company and striving to be a constant pioneer and leader in providing services allowing for critical, live-saving notifications in the US and worldwide.
Ryan’s previous experience developing custom websites, browsers, toolbars and chat technology provided the framework for his developing and founding of Desktop Alert after September 11. He is also responsible for launching the first public police department website in the country in 1995, which featured a focus on deliverable emergency communications.
Desktop Alert mitigates the loss of life, infrastructure and critical assets by providing the ability to deliver emergency communications instantly and affordably across competitive barriers and local and disparate networks for the military, government, industrial, commercial and higher education sectors.
