Commercial real estate brokerage firm The Blau & Berg Co. recently announced it has named Christian Benedetto as its new director of business development.
In his new role, Benedetto will lead the brokerage’s efforts to identify and expand on new business opportunities and partnerships.
“Christian’s commitment to giving back to the community, his service to the United States, his deep financial background and entrepreneurial spirit bring a unique perspective to our business,” Jason Crimmins, president of Blau & Berg, said. “We look forward to working with Christian to continue to drive our clients’ success.”
In his more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, Benedetto worked at Prudential, Provident Bank, Lockheed Martin and the Government of China. Most recently, he was the broker of record and director of real estate services for HSB Advisors.
“Christian is also a published author of four acclaimed books of poetry; a US patent holder; and an avid supporter of the Veterans and PTSD,” the firm said in a news release. “After serving in the United States Marine Corp Infantry during the First Gulf War, Christian founded the quarterly magazine PTSD Journal to help people like him suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. He was nominated as a 2017 CNN Hero for his work.”
Benedetto is a Monmouth University alum and holds degrees in both finance and computer information systems management.
