Atlantic Stewardship Bank has hired Rabhar Ameri to oversee its Small Business Administration unit, which lends to small businesses in New Jersey that do not meet traditional lending requirements.

Ameri will be based at the bank's Midland Park location.

Ameri previously served as vice president of Kearny Bank’s Small Business Administration, and has 25 years of retail banking experience. He will report to Paul Van Ostenbridge, the bank’s CEO.

“We congratulate Rahbar on his new role at the bank and look forward to the contributions he will bring as the Director of our SBA Program. Rahbar is committed to the goals of our organization and a firm believer in our Tithing Program,” Van Ostenbridge said in a press release.
