Somerville-based integrated interior solutions firm dancker announced Monday it is acquiring the assets of Office Furniture Partnership, a furniture dealer in Morristown.

The merger, according to dancker, will expand its presence in New Jersey and the tri-state area.

“We are very proud to be adding the talented team at OFP to our organization.” said Steven Lang, dancker CEO and president. “Our teams share a customer-driven value system and commitment to provide innovative solutions to address today’s business challenges. Our customers will experience a seamless transition as we continue to expand our ability to provide integrated solutions that connect people, space, and technology to achieve better business outcomes.”

As of Oct. 1, OFP will take on dancker’s name and will continue to provide its services to its clients.

“The choice to merge with dancker was based on us having a shared business culture and focus on customer satisfaction. Joining an organization founded in 1829, means our clients will now benefit from even greater expertise, working with an industry leader able to provide fully integrated architecture, furniture, technology, and logistical solutions.” said Bob Rigby of OFP.
