Achim Importing signs temporary lease in Woodbridge

By ,

Commercial brokerage firm Colliers International recently announced it represented Achim Importing Co. in the signing of a 132,000-square-foot lease in Woodbridge.

Achim Importing, which lost its distribution facility in North Brunswick to a fire two years ago, will stay in Woodbridge to bridge the gap between the end of its current lease and the completion of its new warehouse.

Collier’s Michael G. Markey represented Achim alongside Jon Tesser and Troy Skibitsky.

“We have maintained a relationship with Achim, so we knew their situation and were able to find them the space they needed in an extremely tight market where most landlords are not interested in short-term leases because they are trying to capitalize on the strong lease rates,” Markey said.

Achim Importing will remain at 19 Crows Mill Road for one year when its new facility in North Brunswick is completed.
