FedEx to hire nearly 2,000 season workers in the state

By ,

FedEx is looking to hire 1,800 seasonal employees throughout northern New Jersey to help ship packages during the holiday season.

The employees will be hired for its locations throughout northern New Jersey. The seasonal hirings, however, will not be related to the Tennessee-based company’s new, 307,000-square-foot distribution hub in Hamilton Township near Trenton, which opened earlier this week, according to a company spokesperson. Including the Hamilton location, the overnight shipping company also has hubs in Woodbridge, Union and Bellmawr.

“FedEx offers its team members the chance to grow and reach their full potential thanks to excellent training, affordable medical benefits and a strong ‘promote from within’ culture,” Robert Brigham, Woodbridge Hub senior manager said in a press release.

“It’s a great place to grow and advance your career, and these factors make FedEx one of the best and most admired companies to work for around the world.”
