Princeton tops colleges with best online programs

The metric may change, but Princeton remains the highest-rated. In this case, the renowned university topped Online College Plan’s list of New Jersey institutions with the best online programs.

The list was compiled using a methodology based on freshmen retention rates and graduation rates. These metrics were combined into an overall score, with 200 being the highest possible score for any institution.

The retention and graduation rates were collected through institution websites, or through U.S. News and World Report and National Center for Educational Statistics.
