Atlantic Real Estate Services, a real estate brokerage and consulting company based in Bridgewater, announced recently that it has brokered the purchase and sale of an industrial building in South Plainfield.
Brian Dudzinski of Atlantic represented both the buyer, Technick Products Inc., and the seller, Brenntag Specialities Inc., of the 107,825-square-foot property.
“I had been working with Technick for some time to find a building that worked for them. When I contacted Brenntag, whose building was not on the market for sale, they agreed they would consider selling under the right circumstances. It was great to be able to make a deal that worked out extremely well for both parties,” Dudzinski said.
Brenntag Specialties will remain at 1000 Coolidge St. until it can relocate its operations.
For the sale to occur, Atlantic had to find Brenntag a new location for its office. Brenntag signed a new lease at One Craigwood Road in South Plainfield for 16,766 square feet. The space is currently being built out for their needs.
“Brian did a great job for us both in helping us sell our building and in helping us find and secure our new offices,” Bill Mello of Brenntag Specialties said.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
“Brian was tireless in his efforts to help us find the right building and was able to negotiate a win-win for all parties,” Amita Mehta of Technick Products said.
