N.J.-based PumpMan Holdings acquires Bartley Pump

Saddle Brook-based PumpMan Holdings LLC, a Soundcore Capital Partners LLC portfolio company, announced it has acquired Santa Rosa, California-based Bartley Pump.

Barley Pump specializes in pumps and systems residential, commercial and agricultural uses.

"With the acquisition of Bartley Pump, we expand our expertise to include agricultural pump system service and repair," said Donald Devine, CEO and president of PumpMan Holdings. "With Northern California's complex landscape and topography, Bartley Pump brings the unique knowledge base needed to service the intricate systems of the region. With this acquisition, PumpMan now serves both Northern and Southern California, making this an important step in growing PumpMan into a national brand."

Don Kaminski, owner and president of Bartley Pump, will remain with the new company.

As part of PumpMan Holdings, Bartley Pump will continue to operate under its brand.

"The acquisition of Bartley Pump signifies a new chapter in the life of the company," Kaminski said. "Building on our prior success, PumpMan provides the opportunity for continued growth of the business and our employees. I look forward to being a part of this exciting transition."

Financial terms were not disclosed.

"Bartley Pump brings a team of highly specialized technicians whose expertise helps expand the PumpMan brand into adjacent service markets," Feliks Zarotsky, managing partner of Soundcore Capital Partners, said. "This acquisition uniquely positions PumpMan as the leading provider of pump service and repair in Northern California."
