Mediterranean restaurant CAVA to open in Bridgewater

CAVA, a Mediterranean culinary brand, announced Monday it will open its first fast-casual restaurant in Bridgewater, adding to its existing spot in Jersey City.

It also has an upcoming eatery coming to Paramus later this year.

“At CAVA, food isn’t a flat routine, but rather part of an adventurous lifestyle. We’re excited to introduce the vibrant flavors of CAVA to the Bridgewater community,” CEO Brett Schulman said.

Ted Xenohristos, Ike Grigoropoulos, and Chef Dimitri Moshovitis founded CAVA, which offers a customizable menu of over 50 offerings.

“Sharing a meal was, and still is, very much a part of our culture, and how we welcomed our new neighbors growing up,” Xenohristos said.

CAVA said it will have more than 40 locations nationwide by the end of this year.
