The accounting and professional services firm Citrin Cooperman is expanding its advisory services, launching a new service line handling Strategy and Business Transformation, it announced recently.
Steve Ronan, founder of the Connecticut-based Ronan Consulting Group, is joining the company as a principal and SBT practice leader. In this role, he will oversee company efforts to assist clients in assessing their business, developing strategies and creating operational roadmaps to achieve objectives. These include helping companies with strategic planning, talent management and more.
Citrin Cooperman, based in New York, has a major presence in New Jersey, including offices in Livingston.
“As the managing partner of New Jersey, I am very excited to be able to strengthen our services to our clients,” Alex Serrano, managing partner in Livingston, said in a statement to NJBIZ. “Our client base is always looking for how they can improve profitability, grow their companies and improve how they operate. We believe that implementing our new suite of services with a dedicated team of specialists will create substantial value for our clients here in New Jersey.”
Ronan has worked with companies ranging from Fortune 100 businesses to middle-market firms, helping them develop strategies to improve profits and more, Citrin Cooperman said. He has also worked for Deloitte during his career, and is a writer and speaker on digital approaches to consulting, the firm added.
“We continue to bring in top-tier talent in our quest to provide significant value-added services beyond the standard tax and audit services,” CEO Joel Cooperman said in a prepared statement. “The formation of Strategy and Business Transformation marks our continued commitment to providing forward-thinking, best-in-class advisory services to our clients.”
