Grant Thornton LLP announced Thursday it has named George Serafin the national managing principal of the firm’s health care and life sciences industry practice.
Serafin is succeeding Anne McGeorge, who led Grant Thornton’s health care industry practice since 2006.
“George’s broad background and ‘molecule to patient’ perspective makes him a natural choice to continue the momentum in our Health Care industry practice,” said Nichole Jordan, national managing partner of markets, clients and industry for Grant Thornton. “His appointment reflects our commitment to our industry program at Grant Thornton, where we’re focused on deeply understanding our clients’ opportunities and challenges and providing insights that help them create, protect and transform value.”
Serafin has more than 30 years of experience in the health care and life sciences industries. He joined Grant Thornton as a principal in 2017 from Deloitte & Touche LLP.
