Commercial real estate firm Ripco Real Estate recently announced that it brokered a lease for Hurricane BTW to open its first location in the state, in Woodland Park.

The fast-casual concept restaurant is based off the Hurricane Grill & Wings full-service restaurant.

“Woodland Park will be a flagship location to springboard our expansion throughout the Metro New York market,” Yogesh Dave, area developer for Hurricane BTW, said. “We are excited to bring our fresh variety of tasty tacos, burgers and wings to the area. Woodland Park will be a larger than typical location at 3,000 square feet in order to take advantage of the tremendous Route 46 traffic volume of 127,000 cars per day and high population density with 491,000 people living within a five-mile radius.”

Jake Frantzman of Ripco represented the landlord at 1530 Route 46 West in the transaction. Ripco Real Estate is now the exclusive leasing agent for Hurricane BTW.

Hurricane said it is expanding and seeking sites between 1,600 and 3,000 square feet in New Jersey.
