Poll: Christie now 'most unpopular' governor in U.S.

By ,

Gov. Chris Christie is now the most unpopular governor in the country, according to a new poll released Tuesday by Morning Consult.

Christie, who has been battling record-low approval ratings domestically in New Jersey, was found to be the least popular among all American governors, with just a 25 percent approval rating in his home state.

The poll found that some 71 percent of Garden State voters disapproved of the job Christie is doing.

Christie unceremoniously leads Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback and Connecticut Gov. Dan Malloy, each with 66 percent disapproval ratings.
