Parsippany-based B&G Foods Inc. announced Wednesday that its chief financial officer, Thomas P. Crimmins, has resigned “to pursue other opportunities.”
The company said in a news release that Crimmins, whose departure is effective Friday, March 24, is not leaving due to any dispute with the company or any financial matter.
“On behalf of our entire team, I want to thank Tom for his contributions to B&G Foods’ success over the past two years, and wish him continued success in his future endeavors,” CEO and President Robert C. Cantwell said in a prepared statement.
Amy Chiovari, corporate controller, will serve as interim CFO after Crimmins’ departure. A search for a permanent replacement is underway, B&G said.
“Amy has been an invaluable member of the B&G Foods family since joining the company in 1996,” Cantwell said. “Amy played a key role in our 2004 initial public offering and in numerous acquisitions and capital markets transactions over the past two decades. … We are fortunate to have someone of Amy’s caliber serve as interim CFO.”
B&G’s brands include Cream of Wheat, Durkee, Mrs. Dash, Old London and more.
