LAMATEK recently announced it has planned to expand its manufacturing facility in West Deptford.

The supplier of foam tapes, seals and gaskets said it signed a 10-year lease for the spaced adjoined to its current manufacturing facility.

“For a company that started in a 1,800-square-foot garage, this marks an exciting chapter in our substantial growth over the years,” LAMATEK President Bob Carlson said.

LAMATEK said it will increase its footprint to 92,000 square feet from 42,000- quare feet. The company expects to add at least 20 new jobs over the next few years.

“It is a pleasure to work with LAMATEK,” Heather Simmons, the liaison to the Department of Economic Development, said. “They are a great corporate neighbor and they know that Gloucester County’s Workforce Development Board will work with them to help them find the right labor force they need for their new expansion.”

LAMATEK has been in service for over 34 years.
