Floor & Decor plans store in Woodbridge

By ,

Floor & Decor, which just announced a Paramus location, is also coming to a planned Woodbridge shopping center, according to real estate services firm R.J. Brunelli & Co. LLC.

The flooring and tile retailer signed for 74,200 square feet of space at Richmond Plaza, a 94,200-square-foot, two-building center proposed for the intersection of routes 1 and 35 in Woodbridge.

“We are very pleased that Floor & Decor chose Richmond Plaza for its first central New Jersey location,” Bill Lenaz, principal and executive vice president with Brunelli, said in a prepared statement. “This site is the last prime developable parcel in Woodbridge, and offers great visibility and easy access from both Route 1 and St. George Avenue.”

Old Bridge-based Brunelli also said a Metro Diner restaurant is planned for 4,000 square feet of the complex developed by Woodbridge-based Mocci Industries, leaving 16,000 square feet to be leased.

The center should open in the fourth quarter of 2017, Mocci said.

Atlanta-based Floor & Decor has two stores already in New Jersey, plus the two planned locations.
