Poskanzer Skott Architects has expanded its team of architects and added senior administrative staff, the firm announced, responding to recent growth in the size, scope and diversity of its projects.
Its new hires include Cheryl Fothergill, a staff architect, who has experience generating and developing comprehensive construction projects, according to a news release. A graduate of New York Institute of Technology, she is certified as a construction documents technologist by the Construction Specifications Institute and comes to the firm from Keiser Associates Inc. in New York City.
Also joining the Ridgewood-based firm are Elaine Bronner, of Glen Rock, as director of business management, and Kimberley Borzi, of Waldwick, as office operations manager, the news release said. Bronner has worked in various capacities in the health care field and has extensive experience in business management, executive directing and project oversight.
Her previous positions include project management and business development for Liberty World Health and Wellness Center LLC,an urgent care center in Lower Manhattan, and management with the health care consulting group at Amper, Politziner & Mattia PA in Edison.
Borzi was most recently an Internet sales coordinator for Carlo Russo’s Wine & Spirit World in Ho-Ho-Kus, and has worked in office management and as an executive assistant at prior positions.
“We’ve seen a considerable increase as the economy continues to improve, particularly in the areas of multifamily, health care and adaptive reuse,” Barry Poskanzer, partner in the firm, said in a prepared statement. “To keep pace with this growth, we’ve hired key staff to provide additional expertise in both project design and production.”
