Dr. Sharad Sahu has been named the vice president of clinical integration at Hackensack University Medical Center and will focus on ensuring standards of care across the hospital.

“Congratulations to Dr. Sahu on his new position at HackensackUMC.  I am very pleased that Dr. Sahu will be bringing together our physician leaders and health care team to share best practices and lead clinical integration,” Ihor Sawczuk, president, HackensackUMC, said in a statement.

Sahu has been with Hackensack since 2004 and was the physician lead for the CityMD/HackensackUMC partnership.  He is also the physician lead for the integration steering committee with HackensackUMC Palisades, the newest Hackensack University Health Network facility.

“Dr. Sahu’s leadership in our urgent care ventures and the clinical integration efforts with HackensackUMC Palisades make him a perfect candidate to undertake this position,” said Sawczuk.
