Toys R Us Inc. has named a new head of human resources, it announced Monday.
Tim Grace will serve as executive vice president and global chief talent officer, overseeing H.R., including compensation and benefits, succession planning and labor and employee relations. He will report to the Wayne-based company's chairman and CEO, Dave Brandon, the company added.
“Tim is a passionate leader who cares deeply about developing high-performing teams,” Brandon said in a prepared statement. “In championing our 66,000 employees around the world, we believe Tim will help make our company’s culture and talent a competitive advantage, and we are pleased to welcome him as a key member of our leadership team.”
Grace previously was group vice president for human resources for L’Oreal Group, leading H.R. functions in North and South America. Before that, he spent 12 years with Morristown-based Schindler Elevator Corporation as senior vice president, human resources and administration. In that role, he oversaw H.R. in the Americas.
Grace has also worked for companies such as Wise Foods, Diageo and PepsiCo’s Frito Lay division.
