Protocol Security Partners, a Blackwood-based security and investigative service, announced Thursday it has appointed a new CEO and partner.
Richard Zappile has been named partner and Radek Lakomy has been named CEO.
Zappile previously served as chief of police and director of public safety for the Philadelphia Housing Authority. He also served as deputy mayor of Philadelphia and deputy police commission and chief of detectives for the Philadelphia Police Department. He currently serves as an adjunct professor of criminal justice at Strayer University.
Lakomy has extensive experience in analyzing, designing and implementing security structures for commercial organizations. He is a former member of both the Czech and Israeli Special Forces, and has served as a consultant in anti-terror roles for the Czech Republic and Israeli’s International Counter-Terror Institute.
Both appointments are in line with Protocol Security’s tradition of hiring retired law enforcement officers and investigators.
