Software company moving to Piscataway, adding development center to HQ

By ,

A software provider to the insurance, health care and financial services industries is moving to Piscataway, nearly doubling the size of its headquarters.

ValueMomentum said Friday in a news release that the new corporate site will also include a state-of-the-art development center. The company told NJBIZ it has leased 18,000 square feet, up from the previous 10,000 square feet, and could potentially grow the 70 employees staffing the offices by 25 percent.

“Our new offices will help us accommodate our growth better, as we work to develop and deliver innovative software and services for our insurance, health care and financial services markets,” Chief Executive Officer Raj Samanthapudi said in a prepared statement.

The new site, at 220 Old New Brunswick Road, will house corporate staff, plus the staff at the development center. ValueMomentum told NJBIZ the center is focusing on developing software for a major, undisclosed client.

ValueMomentum said its move will take place in stages; corporate staff has already moved in, with others expected to join them by fall.

The company had been located at 3001 Hadley Road in South Plainfield. It said it did not consider any other locations or receive any tax incentives to make the move.

ValueMomentum said it has more than 1,000 employees worldwide.
