Embrace the millennial mindset. The first step to attracting millennial talent is to behave and operate in the 21st century — that means proving you understand the wants and needs of Gen Y with the technological prowess, social media acumen and the convenient, personalized services that today’s hyperconnected consumer demands.

Transcend trivial perks. While offering free food, having a foosball table or hosting frequent happy hours may make the workplace more pleasant, it’s an entrepreneurial culture of flexibility and collaboration that will ultimately build trust and loyalty among your employees.
