Three companies have signed long-term leases at the WestSide Center in North Bergen, the former Liz Claiborne Inc. headquarters, according to real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield.
The firm said Monday that the three tenants had signed up for a combined 68,000 square feet at the 5901 West Side Ave. property, which is still home to what is now known as Kate Spade & Company, but now a multitenant site.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Curtis Foster and Jerry Shifrin serve as exclusive leasing agents for the property, which is owned by Real Capital Solutions. Real Capital Solutions has modernized the property in conjunction with the repurposing for multitenant use, Cushman & Wakefield pointed out.
“In addition to its trendy, loft-style feel, WestSide Center offers large, adaptable floor plates that work to accommodate today’s popular open work environments,” Foster said in a prepared statement. “This property presents an opportunity for even small tenants to land at a corporate headquarters-quality facility with superior technology infrastructure and a full suite of on-site amenities — all for competitive pricing in the desirable New Jersey Meadowlands market.”
Frank Recine and Dan Reider of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented Victoria Classics in its deal; Tim Cadigan and Bill McCaffrey of Avison Young represented Premiere Response in its transaction; and Dan Johnsen and Stephen Elman of Cushman & Wakefield represented Axis Global Logistics in its move.
