Last book read: “This Is Where I Leave You,” by Jonathan Tropper.

What change would make workplaces friendlier to work-life balance? “I would like to change the rules on accessibility behaviors. After many long hours for most of us, we have found that we must also be available and accessible 24/7. Our clients, marketing people and buyers are under tremendous deadline pressures, too. The spiral effect of instant accessibility leaves most of us with little time to really refresh and regroup. I would love to see the business world find a way to encourage everyone to limit accessibility to a certain amount of time per day. But I do not think this will happen during my working career.”
