Achievements: Leading the business banking team in New Jersey for Wells Fargo, and developing strategies to build the bank’s pipeline to record levels and exceed corporate goals; serving on the board of New Jersey Community Capital, a nonprofit community development institution that seeks to transform struggling communities; creating an annual event to provide underprivileged women with professional clothing that helps them re-enter the workforce.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in economics and finance, Towson University.
Role models: “Historically, Amadeo P. Giannini was a great role model in banking. He was the first to democratize banking and made it his purpose to fight for the little guy. Currently, it is Lucia Gibbons, my boss’s boss at Wells Fargo. She advocates for doing the right thing and builds strong lasting relationships along the way.”
Last book read: “April 1865: The Month that Saved America,” by Jay Winik.
Go-to stress buster: “I call it ‘clean a closet.’ It means, when stressed and overwhelmed, break it down, make it actionable and tangible. Then execute.”
What change would make workplaces friendlier to work-life balance? “A personal coach. Scratch that. A drill instructor, to make me balance mind, body, spirit and business.”
