Achievements: Providing effective communication strategies for clients in the private and public sectors, including presidential, gubernatorial and Senate candidates; serving as a leading strategist behind ForwardNJ, a coalition of organizations focused on reforming and funding New Jersey’s transportation system.

Education: Bachelor’s degree, Douglass College, Rutgers University.

Go-so stress buster: “We have a basketball hoop in our New Jersey office. When things are intense, we will often call a timeout, and play against each other for a bit.”

What changes would make workplaces friendlier to work-life balance? “We are exploring getting rid of vacation, sick time and other similar policies entirely. Our team is a tremendous group of individuals, and those policies may be more restrictive than necessary. In the event someone has to deal with a death in the family, wedding or even a child’s medical appointment, I want everyone to have the flexibility to be present for the critical moments in their personal lives. I believe the members of our team will greatly appreciate the flexibility, but I truly believe that for incredible colleagues, you don’t need a policy—they are so committed to the work, it will get done.”
