Role models: “My grandmothers and my mother. They were strong, decisive and nurturing women who pursued higher education and professional careers during an era when this was the exception. I saw how they maintained families as their core, while also pursuing their business goals. These women have been strong role models for me as I started my business of nurturing families during moves.”

Last book read: “Start with Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action,” by Simon Sinek.

What do you wish someone had told you when you were first starting out in business? “Immediately hire people in areas of expertise that you don’t have. To move your vision forward, you need a smart and dedicated team to complement your skills.”
