Bridgewater tech solutions firm expands in India

Bridgewater-based technology and operations solutions provider IGATE Corporation announced Tuesday that it is opening a new facility in Noida, India.

IGATE said in a news release that the new site covers 60,000 square feet over two floors, and an accommodate about 550 people. It added that the new office is located in Sea View Developers on the Noida Expressway. It augments the company’s existing 400,000-square-foot facility in Noida’s Special Economic Zone, which houses 3,000 employees.

“We have been investing in Noida over the years and are pleased with its infrastructure that makes it conducive for business,” Ashok Vemuri, IGATE CEO and president, said in the release. “Our existing facilities cater to our work on integrating technology and operations for our clients. We are pleased with the talent available in this region and are happy to expand our presence here.”

IGATE said this facility continues its global expansion, which also includes the recent openings of delivery centers in Stockholm, Sweden, and Budapest, Hungary, as well as Sterling, Virginia. The company said it has additional expansion planned for India, as well.
