The Hampshire Companies, a Morristown-based real estate investment firm, announced Thursday that it has named Eric Helstrom senior project manager at the company.

The firm said in a news release that Helstrom will help manage Hampshire’s value-added real estate portfolio by executing all aspects of the development process, including design, planning, budgeting, scheduling, cost and quality control, and construction administration.

Prior to joining Hampshire, Helstrom was founder and president of H+3, LLC, a real estate consulting company.

“Eric’s roots in the architecture and construction industry will enhance our project management capabilities and enable us to bolster our development portfolio,” James E. Hanson II, CEO and president of The Hampshire Companies, said in the release.
