InterCloud Systems, Inc., announced Friday that its professional services segment has secured more than $1.4 million in new purchase orders.

The Shrewsbury-based company, which provides network solutions, said in a news release that the new projects include support for wireless carriers that are expanding their networks. InterCloud said new business backlog for 2014 is now in excess of $25 million.

"This new business backlog continues to surpass previously announced all time highs for the company,” Mark Munro, CEO, said in the release. “This validates our organic growth strategy and our focus in the high growth segments of the service provider and enterprise markets. We are very excited for all our key stakeholders."
