Pinnacle boosts quarterly dividend

Pinnacle Foods announced Thursday that it is increasing its dividend by 11.9 percent.

The Parsippany-based food company said in a news release that its quarterly cash dividend would rise to 23.5 cents per share, from 21 cents, effective with the upcoming third-quarter payment.

The third-quarter dividend is payable Oct. 7 to shareholders of record as of Aug. 29.
