RRsat Global Communications Network Ltd. announced Thursday that it has expanded its U.S. sales team with industry veterans to strengthen its presence and capabilities in the North and Latin America markets.

The Englewood Cliffs-based digital content management and global content distribution provider brought on Dante Neyra and Rick Phelps to lead the expansion, both with more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing.

Neyra joins RRsat as head of commercial services and development for the Latin America and Hispanic markets. He will be responsible for overseeing business development and relationships in those areas. Neyra has more than 15 years of experience in international business development in the TV, entertainment and media industries, as well as multicultural markets worldwide.

Phelps joins RRsat as U.S. director of sales and will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, promoting the company and overseeing new business processes.

"We are pleased to have Rick and Dante represent RRsat as we continue our expansion within the U.S. and throughout the Hispanic market," Ohad Har-Lev, president of RRsat America, said in a prepared statement. "Their vast industry experience and professional relationships strengthen RRsat and extend benefits to our current and potential customers. We are honored to have them join our team and assist us as we strengthen our global presence."
