The Santomauro Group, a Hackensack-based health, fitness, martial arts and sports consulting management firm, has been selected to manage Glenpointe Spa & Fitness in Teaneck.

The 26,000-square-foot health and fitness facility is part of the landmark Glenpointe complex, one of northern New Jersey’s popular mixed-use developments.  The complex was developed and is owned by Hackensack-based Alfred Sanzari Enterprises.

Tony Santomauro, company president, will oversee the fitness facility located at 200 Frank W. Burr Blvd. Santomauro has 39 years’ experience owning health clubs and consulting for health club owners. He also co-founded CAN DO Fitness Clubs, which has locations in Edgewater, Short Hills and Princeton.

“We are very excited to be chosen for this management assignment,” Santomauro said. “Glenpointe Spa & Fitness is a beautiful facility with a wonderful staff and an extremely dedicated membership. Our goal is to consistently deliver a positive experience to every guest, while making Glenpointe Spa & Fitness the premier community-based fitness center in Bergen County, and eventually, in the whole state of New Jersey.”
