Vidyo product chosen for Indian bank’s app

By ,

Visual communications company Vidyo said Wednesday that it has been chosen to provide mobile banking services to IndusInd Bank, a private sector bank in India.

Vidyo, based in Hackensack, will use its VidyoWorks solution to power IndusInd Bank’s Video Branch service, which enables face-to-face video conversations with branch managers, relationship managers and other bank officers.

“Banking evolved from brick and mortar to online banking, but innovative banks like IndusInd understand that visual communications are important in customer relationships to deliver convenience, flexibility and value in today’s ‘always on’ world of connected devices, and without it, some customer loyalty may be impacted,” Ofer Shapiro, CEO and co-founder of Vidyo Inc., said in a prepared statement.
