The Integrated Life platform developed by Synchronoss Technologies Inc., a Bridgewater-based mobile cloud solutions provider, has been selected by Time Warner Cable for IntelligentHome, Time Warner's home security and home management service.

The IntelligentHome solution offers customers “connected home” capabilities, which include the ability to remotely manage home security and energy use, and emergency response, Synchronoss said in a news release Tuesday.

“Today’s announcement with Time Warner Cable marks our official entry into the home automation and security market through Synchronoss’ Integrated Life platform,” Chris Putnam, Synchronoss’ senior vice president, sales and business development, said. “Earlier this year, we announced that our technology is connecting cars — now we are connecting homes. We are looking forward to what’s next in this connected world.”

Time Warner plans to use Synchronoss’ platform to connect customer devices, including smartphones, tablets, operating platforms and more.  The platform will also consolidate the sales and installation process and further ensure order accuracy for its customers.

“Synchronoss’ Integrated Life platform will enhance our customers’ sales, installation and service experience while providing a foundation for continuous operational efficiency,” Scott Taylor, Time Warner vice president, corporate development operations, said.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
