Zak Events, an event decor company, is relocating from Franklin Lakes to Oakland, according to commercial real estate firm NAI James E. Hanson, which facilitated its new five-year lease.

The Hackensack-based commercial real estate firm said in a news release that Zak Events will take 3,750 square feet of office space and 3,623 square feet of warehouse space at 99 Bauer Drive in Oakland.

The property is a 20,000-square-foot office and warehouse facility that is now 100 percent occupied, NAI Hanson said.

NAI Hanson’s team of Barry Mayer and Arthur Hixson, both vice presidents, represented landlord 99 Bauer Drive, LLC.

“Zak Events was seeking a new location to consolidate its operations,” Hixson said in the release. “99 Bauer Drive will provide the company with its desired combination state-of-the-art warehouse space and office space, both of which it needs in order to manage its growing event décor business.”
