Pennsylvania American Water, a subsidiary of Voorhees-based American Water, announced Thursday that it has closed three acquisitions, comprising the assets of municipal wastewater and water systems.
The total purchase price for the three newly acquired systems is approximately $1.4 million.
Pennsylvania American Water acquired the water and wastewater services assets of Paint-Elk Joint Sewer Authority, based in Clarion County, Pa.; the water system assets of Scott Township in Lackawanna County, Pa.; and the Berry Hollow Water Company in Northampton County, Pa.
