CardCash.com, the Brick-based marketplace for gift cards, on Wednesday announced the acquisition of the assets of Plastic Jungle, a competitor in the gift card industry.

CardCash said in a news release it had acquired Plastic Jungle’s technology infrastructure, business partnerships and domain name.

"Plastic Jungle was an industry pioneer," CardCash CEO Elliot Bohm said in the release. "They developed world-class technology and did invaluable work educating consumers about the hidden value of their gift cards."

CardCash said it expects the transition to be complete within two months.
