Bridor Inc., a maker of breads and pastries, announced Monday the $32 million expansion of its American facility in Vineland.
The expansion means the addition of 45 jobs, bringing the total on-site to 177, from the current 132. The facility will increase in size to 183,000 square feet, from 136,000 square feet.
Bridor, which makes baguettes, breads and rolls in Vineland, said in a news release the Bridor USA Inc. site will have expanded capacity for laminated pastry dough and flaky croissants.
“This expansion represents our deep commitment to our U.S. customers and significantly enhances what we can offer them,” Jean-François Duquesne, CEO, Bridor Inc. and Bridor USA Inc., said in the release. “We pride ourselves on being an industrial baking company that combines advanced manufacturing technology with traditional European baking techniques. This enables us to produce on a large scale the highest quality authentic European pastry and breads in the world.”
