Riverdale company moves to Texas

By ,

A Riverdale technology company has moved its headquarters to Texas, according to a report on the DallasNews Business website.

CVE Technology Group Inc., which repairs consumer electronics, plans to employ 1,200 people in Allen, Texas, by the end of 2015, according to the report. It currently has 300 workers occupying an office building and service center and intends to increase that total to 600 by year-end, DallasNews Business said, citing the Allen Economic Development Corp.

“We relocated the headquarters here because the Metroplex is the epicenter of cell phone growth and activity,” CVE Vice President Ruben Alvarado said in a statement. “All of the top carriers along with all of the top OEMs are here in the (Dallas-Fort Worth) Metroplex.”
