Hampshire Cos. signs three leases at MetroPark building

By ,

The Hampshire Companies announced Thursday that it has signed three leases at the CENTRA office building in Woodbridge’s MetroPark.

The Morristown-based real estate investment firm said the leases total 44,000 square feet at 186 Wood Ave. South, and include an entire 31,288-square-foot floor occupied by audit, tax and advisory firm Grant Thornton.

Stern + Associates, a public relations and marketing firm, will occupy 7,558 square feet at the class A site and Atrium Staffing of New Jersey, a staffing agency, will take 5,272 square feet, Hampshire said in a news release.

“The addition of these three tenants is a testament to CENTRA at MetroPark’s premier location and superior design,” said Todd Anderson, a principal of The Hampshire Companies. “The MetroPark market continues to thrive as one of New Jersey’s most sought after suburban office markets.”

David Simson, vice chairman and COO of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s New Jersey operations, and Jamie Drummond, senior managing director, represented The Hampshire Companies in the deals. Grant Thornton was represented by Mike Christian and Sam Horowitz of DTZ; Stern + Associates was represented by Marc Rosenberg of Cushman and Wakefield; and Atrium Staffing of New Jersey was represented by Christian Politan of Cushman and Wakefield.
