Hill unit to manage Brazilian project

Marlton-based Hill International announced Tuesday that its Brazilian subsidiary Engineering S.A. won a $2.2 million contract to provide project management for the construction of seven wind farms located in Chapada do Araripe, Piaui, Brazil.

The 18-month-contract covers the development of 115 wind turbines with a total generating capacity of 205 megawatts, Hill said in a news release. Engineering S.A. has managed the construction of 25 Brazilian wind farms since 2007, Hill said.

Hill also announced Tuesday that it was recognized by The Zweig Letter as the 44th-fastest-growing company in North America among architecture, engineering, planning and environmental consulting firms.
