By ,

The National Realty & Development Corp., a real estate owner and developer, announced Tuesday that it has leased an in-house Hobby Lobby deal in North Jersey.

The Purchase, N.Y.-based firm said it has placed a Hobby Lobby store at the Pohatcong Plaza in Phillipsburg.  The store has taken up 56,000 square feet of the 562,000-square-foot plaza located at the intersection of Route 22 and Greenwich Road.

The grand opening was held on July 7 for the arts, crafts and home décor retailer. Other anchor tenants at the center include, Walmart Supercenter, Super Stop & Shop, Regal Cinemas, Toys “R” Us and Babies “R” Us. Marshalls and HomeGoods will open stores at the center this September.

“We continually strive to create retail centers that contain a great tenant mix of high-quality national and local tenants that will be the perfect fit for the communities they serve,” John Orrico, NRDC president, said in a prepared statement. “Hobby Lobby and NRDC have a long-standing relationship and we are pleased to be able to accommodate their expansion into New Jersey. We wish them great success at their new location.”
