An Edison-based real estate services firm said Monday that a client has expanded its presence at 1835 Burnet Ave. in Union.

Bussel Realty Corp. said in a news release that Kalustyan Corporation has expanded by 50,000 square feet in Building C, bringing its total presence at the industrial complex to 82,472 square feet spread over two buildings.

Bussel Vice President James Hodgkins represented Kalustyan, a global importer of spices and other products, while the building was represented by Ken Lundberg of NAI Hanson.

“Several years ago I represented Kalustyan Corp. in its original lease at the industrial park,” Hodgkins said in the release. “With the company’s growth in business, Kalustyan decided an expansion within the industrial park could continue to accommodate its present needs and future plans.”
