Micronet Enertec Technologies Inc. announced Wednesday that it has received an $800,000 order for its rugged mobile tablets from a mobile resource management provider.

The Montvale-based company’s Micronet Inc. subsidiary received the order for its TREQ-VMX product, it said in a news release. The unnamed buyer is a service provider specializing in fleet and operations management, and deliveries are expected through the end of 2014.

"This is another example of the industry's growing acceptance of the TREQ-VMX platform due to its unique features developed to directly support for the growing market for field-level computing," Shai Lustgarten, CEO of Micronet, said in the release.

This follows on the heels of another $800,000 deal, announced July 1, for the TREQ-VMI mobile computing device.
