Montvale-based Micronet Enertec Technologies Inc. announced Thursday that its subsidiary, Micronet Ltd., has appointed Shai Lustgarten CEO, effective July 1.

Prior to his appointment, Lustgarten was the executive vice president of business development for Micronet Enertec Technologies since 2013.  Prior to joining Microtec, he was vice president of sales, marketing and chief marketing officer of TAT Technologies Group.  He was also previously CEO of T.C.E. Aviation Ltd in Belgium.

"We are excited to now have Shai in the primary role at Micronet following our recent acquisition of Mobile Resource Management/Field Management business division of U.S.-based Beijer Electronics Inc.," David Lucatz, CEO of Micronet Enertec Technologies, said in a prepared statement. "We are already seeing new orders resulting from this combination in the U.S., our largest target MRM market, and we look for Shai to build on this momentum in the U.S. and abroad. His proven track record and leadership in sales and marketing will prove invaluable going forward as we expand our business globally."
