N.J. telecommunications company announces new vice president

Bridgewater-based SMS/800 Inc., a provider of toll-free technology and database administration services, on Friday announced that it has hired Alan Stiffler as vice president, business development.

Stiffler has more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.  He’s held senior management positions at Neustar, Cable & Wireless and the Association for Local Telecommunications Services (ALTS).

"We are thrilled to have Alan join us. He brings an innovative, customer-focused perspective and a proven track record of establishing and growing successful teams and products. We look forward to Alan's leadership to drive strategic growth for SMS/800 and the toll-free industry at large,” Gina Perina, CEO of SMS/800, said in a statement.

"I believe in SMS/800's potential and being able to successfully leverage its position throughout the toll-free industry and expand into related areas in the communications arena.  I am excited to be a part of that effort and glad to be a part of the team," Stiffler said.
